My Bio
I am the host of Westwood One’s First Light. First Light, airing Monday to Friday from 5:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m. ET, is the news-talk show providing in-depth coverage of the top stories of the day with on-scene report as well as interviews with top celebrities and newsmakers.
I traded a career in physical anthropology for broadcast journalism in 1978 when I became news director of WGCH, Greenwich, CT. I graduated to the "Big Apple" as a reporter for WCBS and then news director of WHN.
First Light is now in its 12th year and going strong, having won numerous awards from the International Radio Festival, Ohio State University and other prestigious organizations. I can also be heard as the morning drive anchor on Fox News Radio.
I joined Westwood One in 1980 and have been serving up my own brand of news and information ever since.
