I was raised on the north side of Chicago...and no, I am in no way responsible for their politics! I grew up listening to the famous WLS and DJ's like Dick Biondi, Clark Webber and Art Roberts. I learned early on that people enjoyed my warped sense of humor.
After traveling around the country (11 high schools in 4 years graduating at the bottom of my class at Peoples Academy in Morrisville), I enrolled at Champlain College to pursue a degree in computer programming and planned to own IBM, Instead I ended up on radio in Burlington. I spent 15 years on the legendary WDOT, with 70% of the radio audience listening to my show (probably waiting for me to get fired!).
I live in Colchester with my wife Mary Paule (who I first met in 1966 in Stowe at a place called Good Time Charlies when she walked up to me and asked me to kiss her). It's great to be back on afternoon drive on 96.7 DOT-FM with my old pals Ken Barlow, Dave Hunter, RJ Potter and Chip Hobart. It feels like I never left! Now if I could just get Barlow to stop telling all my secrets on his show!!!!!!
